Workshop Selection

The Workshop Selection opens on February 10th!

The IX In4Med offers you a wide range of workshops in the most various areas of medicine! Each being unique, you will find ones more practical, and others more theoretical. With some of them, you’ll get your hands dirty, with others, you’ll learn how to deal with specific situations. But there’s something transversal to all of them - each one of the 66 workshops will provide precious knowledge regarding their area!

Our workshops will occur on Saturday, the 29th of February, at 3 pm. You will be able to attend 2 workshops of 1 hour and 45 minutes of duration or 1 workshop that lasts 3 hours and 30 minutes!

911 Newborn
Delivery is a beautiful moment, however, it can be a bit traumatic for both mum and newborn. Some babies suffer a hypoxic experience and need additional help to establish normal breathing. In this workshop, you will be able to understand the physiological processes underlying apnoea, bradycardia and poor condition at birth after a hypoxic insult and practice the approach to newborn resuscitation.
