Martin R. Cowie

Martin R. Cowie is a renowned cardiologist, researcher, and professor in the School of Cardiovascular Medicine & Sciences at King´s College London.

His studies focus on health technology assessment and delivery of efficient and effective care for patients with heart failure. He is also an Associate Editor of Heart and Journal of the American College of Cardiology- Heart Failure and has written a book for patients titled “Living with Heart Failure- a Guide for Patients”.

In 2019, Dr. Martin was awarded the Thomas Lewis Medal for his services to British Cardiology, and the Roy Award from the UK Heart Failure Patient Charity, Pumping Marvellous, for outstanding contribution to excellence in heart failure.



Ferdinand R. Waldenberger

30 year experience as a cardiac surgeon with 3000 heart operations performed in Europe, USA, Asia and Africa (Team of 1.HeartTx in Austria, Team of 1. Peadiatric Heart Tx under 1 year world wide, several artificial heart implants, many thoracic aortic aneurysm operations,..).

His studies focus on health technology assessment and delivery of efficient and effective care for patients with heart failure. He is also an Associate Editor of Heart and Journal of the American College of Cardiology- Heart Failure and has written a book for patients titled “Living with Heart Failure- a Guide for Patients”.

Several years as director of the second and third largest hospitals in Austria, respectively. Chairholder of Health care for Economics and Organizational Ethics at the Sigmund Freud Private University, Vienna and Chairman of AescuLAB Association for Ethics.
