Dr. Michael Assayag is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon. With years of experience in advanced orthopedic care, Dr. Assayag has helped patients around the world add inches to their height and increase their confidence and self-esteem. In addition to cosmetic height enhancement, Dr. Assayag offers treatment for patients with complex orthopedic conditions, including reconstructive procedures for bone defects, limb deformities and osteomyelitis, as well as bowleg and knock knee correction.

Dr. Assayag is highly renowned among his peers and has distinguished himself throughout his career as an orthopedic surgeon. He has been named as one of Baltimore Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2019 and serves as co-director of the prestigious Baltimore Limb Deformity Course, where he teaches the principles of limb lengthening to surgeons across the globe. He has also published influential research on limb reconstruction, sharing his knowledge with others to improve the quality of orthopedic care worldwide.

Some of Dr. Assayag’s proudest achievements occur outside the office. He is involved with Operation Rainbow, a nonprofit organization that provides orthopedic services to children and young adults in developing countries like Haiti. By volunteering, he has helped to improve the lives of hundreds of patients who might not otherwise have access to advanced medical care. He also supports the Rubin Institute’s Save-A-Limb Fund, which sponsors medical missions abroad and provides financial assistance for patients in need of limb-saving surgery.
